As the Wisconsin legislature rushes to conclude its 2025-2026 session, wake-enhanced boating bills have been introduced in both the Assembly and Senate.

Russell Jerome Zick, 72, of Rochelle, Illinois, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, after living his life to its fullest, even during his six-year battle with cancer. He was at home, surrounded by those he loved.

Douglas James Lindberg, M.D., age 48, passed peacefully on the evening of Saturday, August 30, 2025. Visitation 9/5/2025 at Elmbrook Church (777 S. Barker Rd., Brookfield, WI 53045) from 2:30–4:30 PM, followed by the Funeral Service at 5:00 PM.
