Swedish Breakfast and Lake Views Fundraiser

June 21, 2025 - The first Swedish Breakfast and Lake Views fundraiser collected almost $750 to offset the cost of our Clean Boats, Clean Waters contract.


The morning began with a breakfast at the Benson-Maczko home including Swedish pancakes, sausage, fruit, and a sampling of breads, coffee cakes, and cookies.

Five homes were open to visit: Samuelson, Cook, Fox, Campbell, and Collins.


The Collins family owns one of the cabins in the old Stormy Lake Resort on Baker Lake Road which operated from the late 1940s until the early 1970s. Although the rest of the cabins have been remodeled, the tour included #5, which still has the original configuration. Here are the resort rules.
